The Active Flag Committee have some great news! We achieved our 2nd active flag at the end of June 2021 and on Thursday, September 23rd, we look forward to celebrating this achievement. The active flag committee put their heads together and came up with some fun and active ways to celebrate. We will roll out the volleyball net, dust off our sacks and gather up a few eggs and spoons to engage in a day of sport and activity on this the European Week of Sport!
The staff are also planning a little video quiz for the classes to see who can figure out how the staff like to stay active outside of school.
The Active Flag Committee look forward to raising the flag on Thursday afternoon and rounding off the day with a night off homework.
Congratulations on the great work last year; keeping active through lock downs and ensuring we stayed fit and healthy all year round. Keep up the good work and keep exercising. This year we look forward to working on four more fundamental movement skills and utilising our active school walkway to the maximum.
