The month of May and the beginning of June have been extremely active and busy as always in Creevy NS. Our boys and girls school football teams were both celebrating recent successes. Our girls won the regional county final in Donegal Town and came second in the North Leitrim South Donegal League Final. Our boys came second in the regional county final, while they won the North Leitrim South Donegal League. A huge well done to all the players involved! The School Football League concluded on the 6th of June with 3 excellent finals being played. A massive thank you to Tom Daly and to the Aodh Ruadh club for hosting the event and to Val Murray for refereeing. A huge well done to all the children who participated and to the captains and vice captains of each team for organising and inspiring their teams in such a wonderful and positive manner. Finally, a huge thank you to all the staff in the school for all their help during the games at school and for everything on the night of the finals. Well done to all! Active Week in Creevy concluded on the 7th of June with the children participating in activities and games throughout the week. A huge thank you to Mr Rooney for all his help this week and for making it such a wonderful and entertaining Active Week.
