The Creevy Summer Fete organised by the Parents' Association on June 19th, 2022 was a great success. It was a wonderful community day full of fun, food and laughter, which was most welcome after two years of the Covid Pandemic. The Parents' Association had a great team of volunteers who organised the many different stalls on offer - Novelty games, relay races, archery, putting green, arts and crafts, guessing corner, penalty shoot out, sweet stalls, bbq area, milk shakes, face painting, bake sale, books, craft sale, teas and coffee.
For some reason the longest line was the Sponge the teacher activity. I must thank all our staff who were such good sports and willing volunteers on the day.
Thank you very much to the Parents Association committee led by Jon, Elaine and Philip and all the parents who ensured the day was a great success. Many thanks also to all the local people and businesses who sponsored prizes and offered their services, it was much appreciated. Please see below a message from the Parents' Association.
Creevy NS Parents' Association Committee
Many thanks to all who contributed to, and attended, the Creevy Parents' Association Fete on Sunday, 19th June 2022. It proved to be a fantastic day not only as a fundraiser but as a family oriented day enjoyed by all.
A whopping 8,000 euro was raised by our generous Community for which we are very grateful. Proceeds raised will go towards the development of the astro pitch and walking trail for school and community use.
A warm thanks to Karen Skelly of World Photography who offered her time to take some action shots of the day.
