We had a very enjoyable school tour to Castle Adventure Open Farm. The children started their day with a tour of the animals and got an opportunity to pet some of these. We enjoyed our time in the play area and we were well ready for our 11 o clock snack, which was even tastier than usual because we were allowed a treat! Next up was an interesting overview of the history of the castle before we embarked on our journey to the seashore. Here we enjoyed exploring the shore and rockpools, some football and tennis and even a crab burial service!!! After lunch we made our way back to the farm for some more fun before we made the short trip back to the school.
It was a very enjoyable day out and we must compliment the children on their behaviour and say a big thank you to all the staff at the farm for making our school tour so special.
